CamAWiSE Mentoring programme 2023

We invite women with career paths in science, technology, engineering, medicine and mathematics (#STEMM) to participate in the CamAWiSE Mentoring programme.
Mentoring provides the opportunity to empower and inspire you in your career path. It helps to build new connections and expand your exposure in the professional areas and beyond. During this six-month programme, you will gain further skills that can help you further your career goals.
This is an inclusive programme and we welcome applications from women with careers in STEMM in both academic and industrial fields. We invite mentees from different geographical locations and particularly encourage women from the UK, Africa, and Ukraine to join the programme.

My digital camera started taking blurry photos no matter what I did. I cleaned the lens, reset the settings, but nothing helped. I searched online for calibration tips and found a forum thread where someone had shared a link to a "diagnostic session." I clicked and ended up on a live sex page. The person on screen was actually demonstrating how to manually adjust the focus ring on older camera models. I followed their steps, tweaked mine, and now my photos are sharp again. Not the kind of site I'd expect for photography advice, but it worked.
