We are delighted to officially launch the 2026 CamAWiSE Mentoring Programme.
On 12th May, we kicked off with our mentoring orientation session, joined by brilliant, like-minded people from across sectors and disciplines.
This year, we received an incredibly strong response from participants across STEMM fields and career stages, representing academia, industry, healthcare, engineering, technology, data science, leadership, and entrepreneurship from around the world. We are proud to have created over 70 mentor-mentee matches in this year's cohort.
A huge amount of care has gone into the matching process, with the CamAWiSE steering committee working hard to understand individual needs, goals, experience, and aspirations. A special thank you to Helen Elizabeth Arnold, Josie Harries, Agnieszka Rutkowska, PhD and Iratxe Puebla for their commitment and work in helping to create meaningful matches and programme coordination.
Over the coming months, mentors and mentees will work together through supportive, mentee-driven conversations focused on professional growth, leadership, confidence, career development, and navigating the challenges and opportunities that come with working in STEMM.
A huge thank you to all of the incredible mentors who have generously volunteered their time, experience, and encouragement. Your willingness to listen, guide, and share perspectives makes a genuine difference.

We are very much looking forward to seeing the connections, ideas, and growth that emerge from this year’s programme. We are proud of what we can achieve together as a supportive community in the months to come.
